Venmar CES Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) are manufactured with a high performance enthalpy wheel, certified to AHRI Standard 1060, that transfers total energy (in the form of heat and moisture) between the outdoor and exhaust airstreams. The ERV series provides a cost-effective ventilation solution that is ideal for delivering 100% fresh, outdoor air while reducing the mechanical heating, cooling and humidification requirements of the space. This improves overall space humidity and control for superior Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and occupant satisfaction.
The Venmar CES ERV series provides an exhaust air energy recovery solution that is extremely flexible and configurable, and can easily be used in conjunction with another air conditioning system to provide very high Combined Efficiency Factors (CEF) or as a stand alone system with many available options for post conditioning and controls.
Venmar CES Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVs) are manufactured with a high performance fixed plate exchanger, certified to AHRI Standard 1060. By default, HRV units feature a passive, sensible heat recovery device that is low maintenance, extremely corrosion resistant, with high sensible effectiveness.
When an aluminum (or a lighter more cost-effective polypropylene) core is selected, the HRV is ideal for pool, spa and natatorium applications. In fact, many of the models that are not specifically designed for pools and spas can easily be upgraded to handle the heavier duty required for these corrosion resistant and sea coast applications.
In addition, for applications that require both sensible and latent energy transfer (but with a static device), nearly all of the HRV models can be upgraded to use a membrane plate, total energy recovery device that recovers both sensible and latent energy.
