The CaGBC promotes the mission of the US Green Building Council by engaging industry and government to accelerate sustainable building and development within Canada to create environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. It has adapted the popular and successful LEED Green Building Rating System and tailored it specifically for Canadian climates, construction practices and regulations.
